the future's looking bright ..i gotta wear shades
Batangas, PH -- a quick recap of the road trip with hasten (a.k.a. justine) last new year's day. we met up with a bunch of friends at high street for some post new year's eve drinking and chika. we bumped into friends from college and law school and met some new people. before we knew it, it was almost 6am and we had to leave to start our new year's day right - at the beach.
we had such weird weather - sunny, rainy, gloomy, bright - all in one afternoon. while desperately trying to get a tan we edited our "before we hit 30 must- do list," had a recap of the past year's (mis)adventures , and decided to make a toast for 2008:

Is this payback time for not posting any entries for so long?? Imagine my shock when I checked out our blog and saw a big picture of ....gasp..me! Haha thanks Reese. But you're right, the future is looking bright for all of us. I propose we establish tradition of spending the first day of the year musing about the year that was and making room for the new one! Salud! Miss you girls!
For the record, I offered to drive quite a number of times. But alas, I got relegated to doling out awards;)
